atmosphere

I'm sitting outside at 12:01 am enjoying the weather with my dog Spot on August 28th 2012. Luna (the moon) looks as magnificent as usual , shining brightly against the dark sky through the soft shadows of the clouds that guard her. It is a summer night. I'm at peace. There have been many hurricanes and tornadoes where I am. But I am adventurous and I don't wait for the eye of the storm to coincidentally pass over me, I chase the eye and try to keep up with it. There are times when I'm exhausted and am consumed once again by winds and stormy weather. The fight is tiring. But its okay, because if I fall, the wind will direct me to where I need to be. And I stand up again , in an effort to leave the storms. Tonight, I have succeeded. The breeze teases my skin with cold air and the moon is magnified and complimented by bright twinkling stars. The atmosphere is comfortable. I have not been here for a while and I am grateful.
